Summerside Lobster Carnival Parade presented by Consolidated Credit Union

Ending Carnival Week with a bang is the annual Street Parade on Saturday, July 14 starting at the marine wharf/coast guard.

The  Consolidated Credit Union will be the presenting partner of the annual Summerside Lobster Carnival Parade and we look forward to their partnership this year.

Over 10,000 spectators will line the streets of Summerside to watch this giant display of family fun. Enjoy the view from your own deckchair as the Parade winds its way through the historic streets of Summerside – this much anticipated event has been loved by generations and is a perfect outing for the whole family.

The theme is simple – ‘All Things Red’. We are calling on the creativity of our community leaders to provide us with dynamic entries.  The parade includes floats, bands, music, clowns and mascots, etc. from local businesses, Island municipalities, service clubs and more, so think red lobsters, red balloons, red polka dots, red hair wigs – if it’s red, we want to see it on your float!

There is no fee to register an entry, and entry forms are now available on the Lobster Carnival website. The parade route is 4km in length.
