This years Lobster with an Icon promises to be another exciting event!

“The icons will be there and sit at the various tables around the room. Some of them will be up front in armchairs and will be interviewed. We’ll have special music going on. Just a wonderful opportunity for everyone there to be able to sit down and spend some time with our guests as they move around the tables.”

Confirmed so far for the dinner are Forbes Kennedy (Former NHL player), Summerside Storm owners Duncan Shaw and Darren MacKay, Glenda Landry( Anne of Green Gables), Fred “Rocky” Howell (Lead singer of Major Hooples), Grainne Howman (great granddaughter of the Titanic’s rescue ship Captain of the Carpathia), Paul Phillips (Special Olympics), Karen Hatcher (College of Piping), Doug MacLean (hockey coach/commentator) Danny Murphy (president of D.P. Murphy), Joe Salerno (Storm coach), Brooke MacArthur (Coke Cover 2012 ) and Teresa Doyle (ECMA winner and Juno nominee singer).

Rodney Clark  and his son Eamon, both oyster shucking champions, will be serving oysters from 6:15 on.

Emily Schurman will emcee the evening’s program.
