The Lobster Trap Challenge will take place again this year at the Silver Fox Marine through out carnival week, starting on Monday, July 9th to Friday, July 13th from 6-8pm each evening.  Competitors attempt to race across a string of upside-down lobster traps in the water as fast as they safely can without taking a SPLASH into the water!  The daily finalist with proceed to the finale to compete for the grand prize of 10 pounds of lobster.

This exciting event made its debut during 2010 Summerside Lobster Carnival and was a very entertaining and fun filled.  This proved to be quite popular with approximately 150 people entering to try and win the coveted prize.
